How long distance pricing works
Local moves are hourly; long distance is a flat rate built from the weight or volume of your shipment, the mileage, and the access at both ends. You get that number before you commit, and it does not move unless the inventory does. Add packing, crating for art or marble, or storage on either end and it is quoted as a line item you can see.
Common runs from San Diego
- San Diego to Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire — usually same-day or next-day delivery.
- San Diego to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Tucson — typically next-day.
- San Diego to the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Pacific Northwest.
- Cross-country moves to Texas, the Midwest, the Southeast, and the East Coast.
What we do differently on a long haul
Everything gets padded, wrapped, and tiered so the load is tight — a shipment that shifts on I-8 is a shipment that arrives damaged. We inventory as we load and check it off as we unload. You get a named contact and real updates in transit, not a dispatch queue.
Military and PCS moves
We move service members out of Naval Base San Diego, Coronado, Miramar, and Camp Pendleton regularly. Bring us your report date and we will work backwards from it. PCS season fills up early, so call as soon as you have orders.

Regional runs like Phoenix or Los Angeles are usually next-day. Cross-country is typically 5 to 10 days depending on distance and route.
Do you crate valuable items?
Yes. Art, glass tabletops, marble, and instruments can be custom-crated and quoted as part of your flat rate.
